Project Torch and Overtime School of Wrestling Bring International Wrestling to Naperville Project Torch and Overtime School of Wrestling to host an Olympic style dual meet between some of the top U.S. High School aged Wrestlers and Bulgaria, June 20, 2008
Naperville, IL - Project Torch and Overtime School of Wrestling announced that they will host a cultural and athletic exchange with the Beroe Wrestling Club of Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. The training exchange and Olympic style dual meet will include Overtime School of Wrestling athletes and 16 Bulgarian wrestlers with five coaches hailing from the Beroe Wrestling Club.

Freestyle wrestlers make nationals
(IKWF North Chicago/North Sectional) - Area wrestlers excelled at the Illinois Freestyle State Championship on May 17 and 18 in Danville and now look to make their mark at nationals.
Zach Synon of Cary won the schoolboy division (born 1994-’95) in the 84-pound weight class, finishing with a 4-0 record, including two pins and a technical fall. It was the second state championship for Synon, who won at 75 pounds last year.
In the cadet division (1992-’93), Crystal Lake Central freshman Joey Kielbasa won at 140, and Marengo sophomore Joey Moorhouse won at 145.

Wizards wrestlers win at state
Crystal Lake, IL - March 20 2008 - The Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation State Championship Friday and Saturday at the Rockford MetroCentre proved him wrong, with the Wizards capturing three individual state titles and 11 total medals.
“We had a great weekend,” Fontanetta said. “It was supposed to be a rebuilding year for us, but the boys came to wrestle.” As a team, the Wizards qualified 20 wrestlers for state and placed second as a team in the novice division and fifth in seniors.

10/11/2007 USA Wrestling has announced that the 2008 Kids Freestyle and Greco-Roman National Championships will be hosted at McKay Events Center, on the campus of Utah Valley University, July 2-5.
