Wizards wrestlers win at state
Crystal Lake, IL - March 20 2008 - The Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation State Championship Friday and Saturday at the Rockford MetroCentre proved him wrong, with the Wizards capturing three individual state titles and 11 total medals.
“We had a great weekend,” Fontanetta said. “It was supposed to be a rebuilding year for us, but the boys came to wrestle.” As a team, the Wizards qualified 20 wrestlers for state and placed second as a team in the novice division and fifth in seniors.

Orem, Utah to host 2008 USA Wrestling Kids Freestyle and Greco-Roman Nationals, July 2-5

10/11/2007 USA Wrestling has announced that the 2008 Kids Freestyle and Greco-Roman National Championships will be hosted at McKay Events Center, on the campus of Utah Valley University, July 2-5.
This is the national championships in the Olympic styles of wrestling for young athletes in the Midget (9-10 years old), Novice (11-12 years old) and Schoolboy/girl (13-14 years old) age groups...link to story
